Diske Uno is an urban artist and illustrator raised in Culiacán, Sinaloa. His passion for painting began at an early age on the streets of his hometown experimenting with graffiti. In 2013 he started his evolution into an urban artist with the mission of leaving his mark along many walls in Culiacán. DiskeUno has murals in many cities across Mexico and also in Chicago. His recent endeavors led him to partner up on a mural with Ricardo Angeles in partnership with Brown Wall Project in Little Village.
DiskeUno draw’s inspiration from indigenous cultures and ethnic groups of Mexico. Honoring the rituals and ceremonies of his Mexican roots are the basis of his work.
