You Are Beautiful started as a simple sticker message. People could send a self addressed envelope and some cash and get back a pack of “you are beautiful” stickers and that was that. Since then, the design hasn’t changed drastically and neither has the message, though its scope certainly has.

For this show, we wanted each artist to show what “you are beautiful” means to them, and to create their own iteration, visually, of this positive message.
