The World’s Tour of Baseball took place in 1913-1914 with the Chicago White Sox and the New York Giants traveling domestically, as well as internationally to cities like Paris, London, Cairo, Sydney and Tokyo. The goal was to promote baseball globally, following the success of the 1889-1990 tour, while also showcasing the sport to a wider international audience. Over 46 games, the White Sox won 24 and lost 20, with two games ending in ties.
