Mikko Heino

Mikko Heino is a Finnish visual artist living and working in Berlin, Germany. With a background in graphic design and inspired by comics, cartoons, skateboarding and popular culture, his bold and simplified work explores cartoony spaces and objects with an adult mindset. Seemingly happy and colourful pictures with a darker undertone. His paintings have been shown in solo and group shows in Hong Kong, Macau, Tokyo, USA, and around Europe.
